Morian Duck, a companion built for trust

A robot you'd let into your home.

A lot of robots feel cold and watchful. Morian Duck is soft and expressive, closer to a pet than a gadget. You can touch it. The camera is honest about what it does. And the prototype is already learning to waddle.

Early units are limited. We'll write when yours is close.

Meet Morian Duck

Soft outside.
Thoughtful inside.

A fabric outer shell and compliant joints make it safe to touch, hold, and bump into. Closer to a plush toy than industrial gear.

Motion you can trust

It waddles.
Soft steps, no marching.

Reinforcement-learned movement maps feelings to smooth, organic motion instead of jerky servo snaps. What you're scrubbing right now is the point: every step stays gentle.

Privacy, said plainly

You always know
what the camera does.

The camera exists so the duck can walk and respond to you, not to record your home. What it sees is processed for navigation and interaction, with clear controls you can see and touch.

Safe to touch

Soft polyester shell over compliant joints. Made for hands of every age, and checked so it doesn't look threatening at first sight.

Walks on two feet

A working bipedal chassis with articulated legs, a camera-equipped head, and small wing manipulators. The prototype already walks.

Expressive by design

Head tilts, slow blinks, little waddles. Emotion shows up in movement, trained to feel organic rather than mechanical.

A first step, honestly

Start with familiar, pet-like robots so people get comfortable before more capable ones show up. Building that trust is the job.

Where it helps

Company for the people you love.

In eldercare homes, Morian Duck is a calm companion that looks up when you talk. Quiet presence, not another screen.

Kindergartens and classrooms use it to introduce robotics gently: something kids can care for without being scared of it. In hospitality, it's the small welcome guests remember.

For builders

A retail kit with a real API.

Morian Duck ships as a kit with a basic API and teleop interface. Fourteen serial-bus servos, a camera head, feet contact switches, and an onboard policy you can talk to.

  • Bipedal chassis with articulated legs, head, and wing manipulators
  • Python API and teleop out of the box
  • RL walking policy onboard, emotion-to-motion mapping
  • Robotics-as-a-Service rentals for schools and care homes

Be first in line when the duck ships.

We're freezing the v1 design now. Waitlist members hear first about early units, school and care-home pilots, and the developer kit.

No spam. Just duck news.
